This is thanks to the V-shaped tip, which ensures a minimum measuring area of 20 mm, 5 mm for convex surfaces and 25 mm for concave surfaces.

Device operation is simple thanks to raised buttons and a backlit LCD screen. The test can be performed in two ways: point-by-point and continuous. The first method is localized gauge application, while the second is dragging the gauge across the surface being tested. A spring-loaded sensor ensures safety during measurement, without the risk of scratching the paint. The end of the test is announced by an audible signal.
